enjoy these luxury beach vibes from jay and Chelsea’s destination wedding in Tulum, Mexico

I’m so excited to share some highlights from one of my favorite weddings in Mexico! Tulum was such a joy. We spent about 10 days exploring the jungle, and the ruins, having fun on the beach, visiting the different parts of the old town and the strip, as well as the beach clubs and nightlife. Jay had initially hired me to shoot all medium format film for his and Chelsea’s engagement photographs in New York City and we hit it off so they decided to bring me down to Mexico with them this January. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. We saw the Cenotes at Dos Ojos Cenote and Gran Cenote with their entire group and even jumped off the cliffs, had a fantastic welcome party and cocktails at Mina, enjoyed the most beautiful rehearsal dinner at Nu Tulum (one of the best-rated restaurants on the New York Times), and of course celebrated their wedding at the gorgeous Blue Venado Seaside. Big thanks to everyone involved and especially to Jay and Chelsea for trusting me to create these 100% all film photographs on both 35mm and 120 medium format Kodak films.

I am so excited to share this film with you! This has been such a treat having the opportunity to drive out to the Hamptons and work with such an incredible team of friends. This wedding video has inspired me to create even more super 8 films this year and I can’t believe how many truly beautiful moments were shared in the making of this film! Jane and Will had their closest family and friends out to enjoy their beach, backyard, and poolside escapade that turned into the most fun evening of dancing, swimming, and drinking Peroni on tap from the keg haha. Thank you to Brittney and BLB Events for everything and a special thank you to my team, Andre and Reed for making this all possible.
